SERVES:

• Incarcerated mothers returning to the Peoria area

SERVICES REQUIRE:

• Application
• Personal interview
• Partnership Team approval

PARTNERSHIP TEAM:

• 3-5 trained and supervised volunteers from local congregations who partner with the returning mother for one year.
• Allies and advocates who meet monthly to share, care and support the returning mother as she re-enters the community

SERVICES:

• FREE — Team provides help with finding housing, employment, childcare, counseling, education and other needs

FUNDING SOURCES:

• Mission support and grants from churches
• Donations from individuals
• Grants from foundations and endowments

LEADERSHIP:

• Oversight committee with members from Zion and partner congregations
